Italia Dueñez

Italia is the owner and maker behind Of Willow and Light. Born in Central California, Italia was raised moving back and forth between the United States and Western Australia. She's now back to her roots in Modesto, CA where she lives with her best friend and husband, Emmanuel.

Italia is a through and through Latina with her background being Puerto Rican, Colombian, and Mexican. Although she is incredibly proud of her culture, she is not shy to let you know she doesn't speak Spanish.  


INSPIRATION

Of Willow and Light was born from Emmanuel & Italia's kitchen table in their home in Modesto, CA.

Inspiration for our designs are drawn from nature and all things celestial. Think, the Joshua Tree desert, dried florals, and the moon.

SUSTAINABILITY

Here at Of Willow and Light, we're aware of the impact businesses leave on the planet, so we want to do our part to reduce our footprint. We're working to do our part by creating high quality, low impact, long lasting products. Our timeless styles are designed to last. 

That means when working with polmer clay - a moldable form of plastic - nothing goes to waste. Scraps are strategically used in ways that no polymer clay EVER ends up in landfills.

We carefully consider our materials to reduce waste, chemicals, and excess plastics that endanger our planet’s ecosystems. From our shipping supplies, to the amount of trips taken to the post office a week.

Be assured that when you recieve your Of Willow and Light products that all shipping supplies are completely recyclable! Our footprint on this earth is something we take very seriously and is something we're actively striving to reduce..

I am SO happy you're here!! When I started this small business, I NEVER thought it would grow the way it has or that I would receive the support I have. I am so OVER THE MOON to have you here and I wanted to let you know that I appreciate you and will never have the right words to express that fully.

My goal with Of Willow and Light is to make sure that every woman feels beautiful, capable, and ready to take on the world. I believe with the right pair of earrings, that is POSSIBLE!!
